Before and After

Before and after!  My mom found this shelf/bench at a yard sale for $3.00 - what a find!!  I doctored it up a little bit and now it is yellow and matches Addie's room.  It holds her books and she loves it!  Yay for projects!

PonyTail

I finally got Addie to let me put her hair in a pony tail!  Her hair is getting so long in the back, but she is not very willing to let me play with her hair, so I have to be slick.  She however, likes to play with Mommy's hair which if you know me, you know that is my most favorite thing.

Boots

Addie always helps Daddy pick out his clothes and shoes for the day, and she chose his boots this day - only they were for her to wear.  She makes us laugh so many times a day.  What a stinker!

Cousins

Addie and cousin Jack posed for a picture with Daddy (Uncle Brad).  He was spinning them around outside when I snapped a photo, so they probably saw two of me and felt a little dizzy.  :)

Happy Birthday Alyssa!

During our last visit home, we got to celebrate with Alyssa on her 8th birthday!!  I cannot believe she is already 8!  She got a Wii Fit for her birthday and during one of the running competitions, Addie decided to join in and started running with the "big kids."  It was so funny!  She has developed quite the little personality over the last week or so.

Greenwood, MS

Around our town are a few picturesque scenes I finally got to capture the other day.  The bridge is right outside of Brad's office and crosses over the Yazoo River.  It's is lit up with Christmas lights for almost 6 months out of the year and is really beautiful.  Just thought I'd share...

Trash or Treasure

Look what I did today!!  I found this playhouse on the side of the road and with some help from a friend, it became ours.  It was so nasty, I couldn't believe I even considered letting my child play in it, but in between thunderstorms, I was able to clean it up and make it shine!  If Addie doesn't like it I can always sell it in a YARD SALE!!  My parents and Brad's parents will be so proud of me!  Always keep your eyes open for deals on the side of the road.
