FOUND EM

For those of you who haven't heard the wonderful news, I FOUND MY RINGS!!!  I had put the metal thing you see back on the shelf and when I did, it grabbed my rings without me knowing it, and held them for over 3 weeks.  I had no idea where my ring was until one day I was dusting and I pulled the thing off the shelf and my rings were laying behind it.  WOW!  What a blessing!  We were going to file the insurance that week.  Praise the LORD!!

Back Home

Now that Christmas is over, we have settled in back home and Addie is doing all sorts of new things.  She is using a sippee cup all the time now for milk which she still calls "Ma Ma," ad she also fed herself yesterday with her fork.  A couple days ago, she fell asleep while she was in her highchair - I must have worn her out that morning.  We have also started brushing her teeth.  ALL 14 of them!!!  She got 7 new teeth since we left for Christmas.
The picture of her sitting in her rocking chair very attentively is when I put in her first Barney DVD.  She was convinced it was a book and wanted me to read it, then I played the DVD and she sat still except for clapping occasionally for the first 10 minutes.  Thanks Grandadd
y!
And the last picture was one I had to include...  LOOK at those jugs!  I know I will get in trouble for that one but I just had to.

FIRE PIT!!!

My mom got me a fire pit for Christmas, and we have really enjoyed it.  We have had smores a couple times and now no longer depend on our shredder for destroying classified documents (or bank statements).  We have a box that we affectionately call the burn pile that we will empty upon our next fire night.  Thanks Mom!

First BooBoo

Our first major blood shed involved a busted lip on both sides and a popcorn tin.  I think the popcorn tin won because Addie still has a little scar.  She handled the pain well and was still able to "bub, bub, bub" while running her fingers over her lips.  (That action is really hard to describe in words...)

Christmas in the Valley

Christmas in the Valley was filled with great fun which included the Merry-Go-Round (Addie's second year running), Christmas Eve at the LeRoy's house, and a party with all the Lanettians.  Again, sorry for the lack of pictures with Brad's side of the family.  Love you though! :)

Christmas - Late but here

Merry Christmas!!  Although it is mid-January, there is nothing wrong with playing a little catch-up and showing just a few pictures from Christmas.  We had a wonderful time with family and friends over the "break."  Why is it that I still think of Christmas revolving around a school break when my schooling has been done for quite some time, Brad works and only uses vacation time, and we have no school-aged children?  I think I will always call it a break...  Addie enjoyed her great grandparents in the southern part of the great state of Alabama.  (Sorry, we have no pictures of the other greats.)
